"THANK YOU FOR OUR FREEDOM" is a vibrant and moving bi-lingual song that was conceived and produced by Myron Edwins (with additional production by producer/engineer Michael Denten). "THANK YOU FOR OUR FREEDOM" was recorded for the purpose of thanking all our Veterans for their service to allow us our freedom. Production for the song began on February 28, 2023, and it was written by 21 writers, recorded at Myron's recording studio (and at five other studios), and it features 40 amazing musicians who have all donated their time, effort and talent to help create it. Gracing the song with a wonderful, compelling verse line is Myron's very own Mother, the beautiful Irene Edwins, and this musical work also features the likes of musicians who are also accomplished and prominent Oakland and San Francisco Bay Area recording artists in their own right, such as:
The Edwards Generation (Barry White, Carole King, Bill Withers, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Anderson .Paak)
Jeanie Tracy (Sylvester, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Curtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin, Santana, and the list goes on)
